In January we were asked to laser cut three brass plates for a theatre production.
The brief
Each plate needed a different intricate pattern. Once finished, the three plates would be stacked on top of each other to make a prop: a sanatorium grill for one of the theatre’s productions.
How we made it
The patterns were cut on our fibre laser. This level of detail is only possible using the fibre laser.
The result
Stacked together, the three plates make an impressive prop.
