It’s always a problem when only 2 or 3 very detailed parts are required in very expensive materials such as 6mm brass plate, but with a little thought and an adaptive engineer’s approach, challenges like this can be manufactured to the highest standards with zero scrap.
We manufactured some bespoke clamps to suit the job, holding the components flat and stopping the stresses getting the better of the parts that are 1300mm x 250mm.
