These high-end dining table bases sit at the skilled end of that range. Design, development, assembly, welding and dressing were all done under one roof.
Design and development
The bases were designed and developed in our workshop. The curved panels were formed to shape from the drawing.
Assembly and welding
Complex geometries like these can be formed and joined with skilled joining by hand. The curved faces were tacked to their top and side panels on the welding table, then welded.
Dressed by hand
Once welded, the seams were dressed by hand so the edges run smoothly from the curved top into the sides.
The result
The finished bases were palletised ready to leave the workshop - and they thrilled our customer.
